Your responsibilities
– Creation and further development of the annual Group sustainability report according to CSRD
standards
– Group Responsibility for FSC®, PEFC and similar wood certificates
– Ensuring environmental, health, and safety standards (esp. ISO 14001, Swiss legislation)
– Local EHS management and function as safety officer for Switzerland
– Development and execution of trainings on sustainability, controlled wood, and EHS
– Enabling internal stakeholders to competently communicate about sustainability topics
– Organization and execution of internal audits, coordination and support of external audits
– Ensuring environmental impact assessments for products
– Implementation and monitoring of environmental and social responsibility initiatives to
minimize our ecological footprint and promote ethical practices
Your profile
– Technical degree in quality management, environmental engineering, chemistry, or wood
technology (FHS, CAS, or comparable education and experience)
– Further education in quality management/certification desirable
– Several years of experience in an industrial environment
– In-depth knowledge of Swiss EHS legislation
– Self-initiative, self-motivated, and open to a multicultural environment
– Structured, results-oriented work approach
– Experience in project management
– Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
– Willingness to travel 5 –10 %
