Head of Metrology / Test Engineering

YOUR MAIN TASKS:

Teamlead (organizational and technical) of the Metrology Engineering team (5 internal, 1 external employees) and their further development
Ensuring the development according our process and improving the process in regards to metrology engineering
Responsible for the metrology engineering infrastructure
Cooperation with SED R&D and other partners
Participation in the elaboration of the R&D Strategy and its implementation
Participate in the elaboration, and promote and live the Technics ground rules
Work in development projects as project manager

YOUR PROFILE:

ETH/UNI/FH Master degree in a technical field
Experience in leading a team as well as in Metrology topics and R&D development projects
System overview and general knowledge in different disciplines such as software testing, optics/physics, electronics hardware, mechanics, and/or measuring techniques
Proficiency in agile and stage gate development process methodology
Dynamic leadership figure, with strategic thinking and excellent communication skills
Structured and result-oriented
Fluency in German and English, French a Plus

We work in agile development teams on challenging research & development projects and have an open and diverse culture. This position is based at Safran Vectronix, located in Heerbrugg (Switzerland).
