Your job Oversee a relevant power origination book (FLOW) sourced from sales and trading counterparties, focused on German speaking Switzerland and Germany Generate significant margins from speculative activities. Maximize VaR returns while complying with assigned limits (VaR, trailing stop loss, credit, cash flow) Support Repower's trading team with fundamental views and market insights Oversee and develop further junior team members Collaborate with Risk Management and Back Office to optimize credit risk management, cash collateral and foreign exchange Support market access services for internal and external clients, coordination with vendors and participate in the development of new trading services Your profile ?10 years' experience in proprietary trading in Continental power markets with a proven track record of successful proprietary trading results University degree (economics- finance, natural science or technical field) Very strong fundamental knowledge of European power markets. Experience in Swiss market a strong plus Experience in close relationships with Origination department and/or direct customer access Network of contacts in European commodity trading, with focus on German speaking countries Entrepreneurial, profit oriented, very good judgement Very analytical, structured, transparent, robust, details oriented High integrity, trustworthy personality, team player Place of work: Poschiavo (possibility to work from Zürich office, with regular trips to Poschiavo, after 12 months) Languages: Native German, very good English.
