Wir verfügen über ein globales Netzwerk mit über 385.000 Fachkräften des Gesundheitswesens. Jedes Jahr bieten wir über 830 Weiterbildungsveranstaltungen auf der ganzen Welt an, die von fast 9.000 Fakultätsmitgliedern unterstützt und von über 58.000 Teilnehmern besucht werden. Wir haben rund 18 500 Chirurgen als Mitglieder, die in den Bereichen Trauma-, Wirbelsäulen-, Schädel-Kiefer-Gesichtschirurgie-, Veterinär- und Wiederherstellungschirurgie tätig sind.

We have a global network of over 385,000 health care professionals. Each year we offer over 830 educational events around the world, supported by nearly 9,000 faculty members and attended by over 58,000 participants. We have around 18,500 surgeon members working in the fields of trauma, spine, craniomaxillofacial, veterinary, and reconstructive surgery.

Short Description The AO Research Institute in Davos is seeking an enthusiastic early-stage researcher for an internship in our Field-Assisted Biofabrication (FAB) Lab. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative research in biofabrication and bioassembly, focusing on the application of extrinsic fields (hydrodynamic waves, magnetic fields, light) and stimuli-responsive materials for tissue modelling and regeneration. Main Responsibilities Assist in the development and optimization of biofabrication technologies using hydrodynamic waves, magnetic fields, and light-based methods. Support experiments involving stimuli-responsive materials for tissue regeneration and organoid modelling. Contribute to cell culturing, imaging, and data analysis. Collaborate with lab members on ongoing research projects and prepare results for publication. Main Requirements MSc in Biofabrication, Material Science, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Biotechnology, Biophysics, or a related field (or currently enrolled in an MSc program). Experience with 3D printing, hydrogels, biomaterials, cell culture, organoid generation, and imaging techniques is highly desirable. Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., microscopy, statistical software) is an advantage. Strong interest in biofabrication, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a research setting.

Short Description We are seeking an experienced international Project Manager to manage the AO Milestones program delivery, ensuring timely delivery across multiple workstreams. Working closely with the AO Milestones Program Owner and an international project team, the Project Manager will drive operational excellence, manage diverse stakeholders, and establish project management standards and build capabilities across the AO Education Institute. The role requires expertise in project management methodologies (such as Scrum, Agile, Kanban) with a preference for candidates experienced in the educational sector. Main Responsibilities Together with the Product owner, develop project management processes that support product development and efficient life cycle management with focus on innovation, business value and quality. Support the product owner in developing and implementing project management framework to be scalable across the organization. Oversee the successful delivery of the AO Milestones project goals, managing complex workstreams with diverse global stakeholders. Lead cross-functional (curriculum design, platform development and implementation) to ensure project success. Drive strategic project goals and process improvements to enhance AO Milestones' competitiveness in the global medical education market. Ensure the integration of human-centered design principles into all program phases. Introduce agile project management, visual project management, and other effective project management methods. Accountable to Manage project timelines, risks, and resources to deliver high-quality outcomes. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment. Monitor program KPIs to ensure performance aligns with business and educational objectives. Main Requirements Bachelor’s degree in project management, education, or a related field. Project management education, PMP or similar certifications, and training in change management preferred. Proven track record in international project management, preferably in the educational sector or medical devices. Strong preference for an independent, proactive, and goal-oriented work approach to apply expertise and foster collaboration in achieving fast-paced goals in line with management expectations and project timelines. Extensive experience managing cross-functional teams in matrix organizations. Strong expertise in Scrum and Agile methodologies. Focus on targets and results, showing a high level of endurance, tolerance, and resilience. Advanced stakeholder management skills. Strategic and operational mindset with the ability to balance competing priorities. Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and their application in educational projects. Ability to navigate and manage complex stakeholder landscapes Proficiency in English This is a temporary role, until 31.12.2026
